LIVERPOOL SHOPPING HAUL <3

As you may know, I was on a brief shopping trip to Liverpool on Sunday. 

I promised a haul so here it is. 

Makeup section : 

All Mac cosmetics were bought in the airport 👍 

While the Benefit makeup was bought in Harvey Nichols. Both Benefit pieces cost £15 each which was a bargain I couldn't resist! 

I decided to pick up a pair of hollister bottoms. You can never have too many. These cost £37 which was pretty good. 

Tan Tan Tan: 

I love being brown so decided I'd try out Lauren Goodger's Tan. I've read some great reviews so I'm excited to try 'Lauren's way'. 😍 It is available in Debenhams for £14. I will be doing a review soon. 

I was so pleased to be able to pick up this tan that I decided to pick up a gift set of it to give away as a prize on the blogs Facebook's.  Stay tuned for the giveaway!

Jewellery: 

 

As I mentioned on Facebook earlier a set of real silver rings caught my eye in the window of a jewellers 💍. Being in the sale from £175 to £110 I couldn't say no! 

I took a quick visit to New look and picked up this bracelet! For £5 I'm sure I'll get my money's worth! 

 

River Islands sale is on at the moment so I wasn't staying too long! I ran in quickly and noticed this top, it's so me. I picked it up aswell as a black purse .
The purse was £17.00 while the top £16.00.

 

I also popped into two other shops & picked up these tops! I bought them because they can both be worn day or night with black jeans and heels or converse! Each at £15

I really loved the necklace attached to the second one, as it dressed it up slightly. The second top is in fact a wine colour, the light does it no justice. 

Perfume:

The last time I was in Liverpool I picked up Rihanna's 'Nude' perfume. Ever since I've being getting compliments all the time. Over here I have spend up to €36 on the 80ml bottle. However the perfume shop did the 100ml, a 20 ml perfume atomiser, and a body lotion for £25!! 

It was by far my best bargain

 

Inside the box: 

I popped into Boots in the airport and picked up these mini simple face products. Essential for removing all makeup and moisturising the skin! 

All in all it was a great day! I would highly recommend Liverpool for shopping, and If I can get all this in a Day imagine what you could buy over a weekend. 

If you are planning a trip to Liverpool I would highly recommend 'base to stay'. Each hotel room has a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, plates and utensils. It really makes a difference to your stay. The rooms are also very spacious

Matt Cardle checks into Rehab!

X Factor Winner Matt Cardle has reportedly checked into Rehab. It has being reported that the contestant has signed up for a 28 day programme based at Londons well known Priory Rehab. Last night it emerged that he checked into the rehab centre after allegedly becoming hooked to prescription pills,Temazepam as well as Valium.

 

A source has told the Sun newspaper that Matt is determined to kick this habit before his tour starts in April of next year.

“In order to calm himself down he started taking Valium and then temazepam, but things got so bad that he couldn’t get up in the morning without taking pills.

“He began to realise he had a problem and decided to do something about it and get clean before his tour.”

Matt is said to be determined to kick the addiction before his UK tour starts in April 2014.

Celebrity Big Brother 2014 🙊

With Celebrity Big Brother set to start this Friday I guess it's time you heard about some of the 'rumoured' line up.

If the rumours are true, then it's sure to an explosive year. 

Katie Price is  reportedly ready to bank a huge six figure sum to head into Britain's most famous house.

Comedian Jim Davidson has again being linked with the show after having to pull out at the last minute during the summer.

Opinionated Katie Hopkins is also rumoured to be heading into the house. With her being the bookies favourite as it stands. 

TOWIE beauty Sam Faiers may be set to share her Joey Essex heartbreak live on Channel 5 with the bookies putting her at 3/2 to enter the house. 

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan is at 12/1 to leave her footballer beau Scott Sinclair for 2 weeks to enter the house. 

Either way I'm sure it's going to be an epic series with the usual boozed up rows, romance and tears. 

Carol McGiffin is also set to be joining the CBB presenting team just months after quitting Loose Women. The TV presenter came fourth in the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Top NYE Makeup looks 💄

With New Years Eve approaching there's no excuse to not go all out with your hair, makeup & outfit of course! 💄

You should always plan your hair & makeup around your outfit or the other way round. Remember less is more, if you are in fact going all out with your outfit, then keep hair & makeup as simple as possible! 

This years top makeup looks include:

1.

If you opt for dramatic eyes such as this look ensure you keep the lips and contouring as subtle as possible.You don't want to be mistaken for a drag queen💃

For this look it's essential you prime the eyes to keep the eyeshadow lasting all night! I would recommend Urban Decays primer potion, if you are on a budget however then Catrice's eyeshadow primer works just aswell! 

When applying the eyeshadow ensure you pack it on by pressing it into place.

For this look I would recommend fake eyelashes, these will totally change the look and make your eyes appear bigger so they will stand out more.

This look is similar to the first, however this one is more subtle. This look can be achieved using only a handful of products.

For the eyes blending is crucial, you don't want any harsh lines. You should use either Gel eyeliner or a shadow to thickly line both the top and bottom of the eye.

False eyelashes will help this look. 👀 

For the lips I would recommend either a nude gloss or The Rimmel Kate Moss collection Number 2 or 3, topped with a clear gloss.💄

3. 

 

Trying to pull off red lipstick can be hard, however Cara does it perfectly. Keeping her eye makeup to a minimum puts all the emphasis on her lips. 

For this look I would recommend Rimmel's 'kiss of life' lipstick. You can also use a gloss over this lipstick if you feel it may be too harsh.💄

Pale skin will always add to this look and if at all possible resist the urge to use blusher! 

Whatever look you opt for girls ensure you have a great night & stay safe. 💋

Mad about Mac

Coming through security & being faced With a Mac counter in front of you is such a tease. I mean who really isn't going to go over & have a "look".

Today when passing through Dublin Airport I couldn't resist! It's safe to say a "look" led to myself and my sister leaving with 6 Mac products. All of which are new to us.

I have in the past bought Mac and was thrilled with the products however lately I wasn't as happy with my purchases.

 

What's in my bag?? 

I find the black track Gel eyeliner to be a godsend. I only wish I could say that about my previous Mac foundation purchases.

I have both the Face & body foundation aswell as the studio fix. Both I found to be either too thin of a coverage or too cakey!( every girls nightmare!) 

Today however I picked up a new foundation which I'm excited to try. I was drawn to the "studio sculpt" foundation because of it's consistency!

As well as the foundation I opted for ..

-Powder Blush in shade Desert Rose €19.95 

- Mac Pro long wear concealer Nw20 €17

Kanye Wests Christmas shopping!

          Kristmas at the Kardashians

 

Unless you've being living under a rock (a big one at that) you'd know that Kanye was spending his first Christmas spoiling the two ladies in his life. 

 

However his Christmas shopping leaves a lot  to be desired ..

 

For his fiancée he opted for a Hermes bag. A nice one at that. However he then decided it would be a great idea to get the Birkin hand-painted by contemporary visual artist George Condo. The bag now features nude women ... LOVELY!! 

Kim herself then took to Instagram to show of her new customized handbag.

What a waste of a designer bag in my opinion!! 

After posting a photo of the bag to her Instagram, Kim later posted a pic of West and baby North's matching Christmas gifts, matte black his and hers Lamborghinis, of course! 

 Because that is what every baby under the age of 1 wants or needs!! Bad move in my opinion "Yeezy"!

 Each to their own I guess..

Why Blog??

For a while I have being toying with the idea of setting up my own blog. For years I have followed blogs such as So Sue Me and The secret obsession! 

Lately however I guess I had being mentioning these blogs more and more to family and friends. Recently family members said I should go for it! They encouraged me to set up my own blog. So today I bit the bullet. To say I was nervous was an understatement.

I decided to name my blog All Things Aoife as I hope it will become an insight into All the Things I like/ dislike such as fashion trends, cosmetics and celebrity stories . 

The aim of the blog, in my eyes, is to share my fashion sense, while gaining other peoples opinions, trying out new trends and beauty products. I guess it's my way of actually getting more involved with fashion and beauty. 

Tomorrow I'm off on a major shopping trip in Liverpool & plan on doing a shopping haul on Monday.
