So recently when I was out shopping with friends we visited the urban decay counter.
Last summer I decided I wanted to buy a naked palette. I had in fact bother getting it to the extent that debenhams had sold out! Luckily enough I was able to buy the last one on a Ryanair flight. I chose the naked 2 palette as I preferred the shades. Nowadays however you can buy 4 naked palettes.
Originally Urban Decay released the "Naked basics".
This palette consists of six matte colours. All of which are neutrals & browns. It comes with a large built in mirror on one side of the travel sized palette. This palette is ideal for any beginner. Retailing at €26, it's worth purchasing.
This palette contains 7 of Urban Decays best selling eye shadows. These shades however give you more to expirement with unlike the basic palette. This stunning palette also includes eye brush and a travel sized eyeshadow primer potion!
Personally however this isn't one of my favourites. I'm not mad on all the shimmer in the eyeshadows & prefer more matte shades. This palette retails at €44.
Hands down this is my personal fave. The shades are similar to Naked 1 palette minus all the shimmer. This Urban Decay eyeshadow palette is filled with 12 pigment-rich, taupe and greige neutral eyeshadows, including five new shades.
Like naked 1, it comes with a brush, however unlike naked 1 it's double ended. This means it's great for blending and shading. The bristles are also great quality, and is one of my favourite brushes. This palette retails at €44 however it is harder to find as stocks seem to be very low.
Last but not least, late lasts year, Urban decay naked 3 palette. There was so much hype around this product, however in my opinion it was a let down. I'm not a fan of many of the colours. However each to their own.
These eyeshadows are more of a pinkies tone, however they do still range from pale shimmery pinks to deep black matte. This palette can be bought for €44 and like all the palettes is available from debenhams.com.
I have decided to show all the palettes side by side as I think it may make it easier to choose which is your favourite.
And if you do decide to buy any of these palettes don't forget to get in touch & let me know which one you chose 👍
Until next time,
Aoife 💋 x
